‘Tis the season! To have your ears accosted by traditional holiday tunes in every single store, restaurant, bus stop and corner of your mind. It truly is a wonderful time of year filled with beauty from the fresh falling snow to the spirit of giving that encompasses the community, but getting sick of the same old Christmas songs can turn anyone into a Scrooge. Here are 10 Indie and Alternative Christmas Albums to keep you sane this holiday season.

Weezer’s Christmas With Weezer: This six-song EP was originally released with their iPhone OS game with the same name. In the game, the songs don’t have any vocals, so the album has a slightly different mix.

The Killers’ Don’t Waste Your Wishes: This new release, exclusively on iTunes and Apple Music, features all of The Killers yearly Christmas singles from 2008 to 2016, each with an accompanying music video from over the years. It was released in collaboration with the Product Red campaign and 100% of the proceeds will be donated to fight HIV/AIDS in Africa.

Barenaked Ladies’ Barenaked For The Holidays: One of the best bands of the aughts couldn’t leave their prime era without a holiday album. Barenaked for the Holidays was released in 2004 and includes both Christmas and Hanukkah songs, as well as a few tunes about the glory winter in general.

Sufjan Stevens’ Songs For Christmas and Silver & Gold: Songs for Christmas is a box set of several singles recorded by Sufjan Stevens between the years 2001 and 2006. Stevens made the songs available to family and friends as gifts until officially releasing Songs For Christmas in 2006. The follow-up, Silver & Gold: Songs for Christmas, Vols. 6-10 was released in 2012.

Bright Eyes’ A Christmas Album: After this album was released in 2002, many of the singles were heard around the pop culture universe, including an episode of The O.C. and the films Imaginary Heroes and Krampus. The proceeds of A Christmas Album are being donated to the Nebraska AIDS Project.

She & Him’s A Very She & Him Christmas: Zooey Deschanel and M. Ward came together to form She & Him in 2008, and between releasing Volume Two and Volume Three, the duo made A Very She & Him Christmas. The proceeds from the album’s sales are being donated to 826 National, an organization bringing tutors and writing centers to the nation’s largest cities.

Bob Dylan’s Christmas In The Heart: Bob Dylan’s Christmas album was released in 2009 and consists of a series of hymns, carols and some of the world’s most popular Christmas songs. Although Dylan himself is Jewish, he claims to have never felt left out around Christmastime and for that reason, he decided to put his spin on the holiday. A portion of the album’s profits go to Feeding America, Crisis and the World Food Programme.

My Morning Jacket’s My Morning Jacket Does XMas Fiasco Style: This holiday EP from Jim James and company was released back in 2000 and features three original songs and two covers, including the band’s version of “New Morning” by Nick Cave.

Arcade Fire’s A Very Arcade Christmas: “A Very Arcade Xmas” was recorded live at a party back in 2001 and is still only available on YouTube. The short EP includes the classics as well as an extended jam session bearing the same name as the album. The album was given to friends and family as gifts before it was made available online.

The Beach Boys’ The Beach Boys’ Christmas Album: This Christmas classic can’t be left off the list. First released in 1964, The Beach Boys’ Christmas Album contains five original songs, including the now-classic “Little Saint Nick.”
