Like so many years in the late 60’s, early 70’s, 1969 was simply a monster for great music.  Whether it was debuts from Santana and Chicago, classic soul and funk from the Isleys and Sly, rocks first “opera” from the Who or acts arguably just entering their prime like the Rolling Stones, 1969 had it all.  Toss in Woodstock, Altamont, Broadway Joe and the NY Jets, TV debuts of Sesame Street and Scooby-Doo, new fast food from Wendy’s and #1 hits from the Archies…well, it was a weird year, too.  Somehow, I’m just the man to take you back, back into time. To quote Iggy Pop from the Stooges self-titled debut, “It’s 1969 bayyyyyyybee” on this week’s Saturday Morning Flashback.

Join me, Richard Milne for three hours of music beginning at 9am.
