Another sample of the band’s upcoming album

Green Day is charging forward with another preview of their upcoming Father Of All… album, taking the wraps off of “Oh Yeah!” The song is the latest look at their LP that arrives on February 7.

The burst of energy from “Oh Yeah!” is expected, with the 13th album from the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame band set to clock in at only 26 minutes over 10 songs. Frontman Billie Joe Armstrong has said that they are letting the rhythm lead the way on this outing, and keeping things short and sweet.

“It’s very high energy,” Billie Joe explained to Billboard. “We wanted to create a dance groove with space between the drums and vocals the way Kendrick Lamar does things or old-school Motown music, where it’s leading with the rhythm. I realized I hate long songs, anything over two-and-a-half minutes. I’ve had a short attention span my whole life, even though I’ve written s*** like f***ing 'Jesus of Suburbia.'”

Last week the tracklist for Father of All was revealed, with one fan being anonymously sent a vinyl sleeve for the album. You can see the full tracklist below.

1.      “Father of All …”
2.      “Fire, Ready, Aim”
3.      “Oh Yeah!”
4.      “Meet Me on the Roof”
5.      “I Was a Teenage Teenager”
6.      “Stab You in the Heart”
7.      “Sugar Youth”
8.      “Junkies on a High”
9.      “Take the Money and Crawl”
10.  “Graffitia”

Green Day will kick off the HELLA MEGA tour with Fall Out Boy and Weezer on July 17 for a stadium run across the country. “We wanted to do something that was kind of like a ‘Monsters Of Rock’ kind of feel to it,” Armstrong told RADIO.COM last year. “We got the ‘Monsters Of Insects’ tour” he laughs.

You can find the full list of dates for the HELLA MEGA tour here. Father of All… is out everywhere on February 7.
