San Diego Comic-Con is getting a revamp - sort of.

Now it's going to be online, free for everyone and you can participate from home. San Diego Comic-Con was canceled in April due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Now, Comic-Con International has announced that the convention will be free on July 22-26, according to CNet via Collider.

Now called San Diego Comic-Con@Home, it will feature panels on TV, movies, games and much more.

Reported in Collider: "According to Comic-Con, they have plans for an online Exhibit Hall complete with everyone’s favorite exhibitors offering promotions, specials, and limited-edition products unique to the celebration. In addition, they will also have a Masquerade, gaming, and many other activities in which fans can participate from their own homes."

The announcement to have the convention at home was announced in May.
