March came in like a lion and April came out like a lion, and quite frankly I'm sick of lions. But May has been very kind to us so far, and it feels like a weight has been lifted off the city. We're not totally in the clear just yet, and I don't want to jinx it, but I do think May is a month worth celebrating. So here we go, songs for the lovely month of May.

"Month of May" - Arcade Fire

"Gonna make a record in the month of May"

"Love U Forever" - Jenny Lewis

Love U Jenny

"January" - Dan Chroll

Don't let the title fool you...

"The May Queen" - Robert Plant

From last year's release, Carry Fire.

"Third of May / Ōdaigahara" - Fleet Foxes

A May song from the writer of a "White Winter Hymnal."

"April Come She Will" - Simon and Garfunkel

"May she will stay, resting in my arms again"

"May Queen" - Liz Phair

Talk about a queen.
