Terri Hemmert's Song Of The Day

Terri Hemert

Since the mid-70's I've been privileged to share my knowledge and passion for music with the next generation of radio/music/arts. What do I get for this? Perpetual inspiration from my interaction with my students. We spend plenty of time exploring the roots of rock and soul. Jazz, Folk, Blues, Country, Gospel…..we go deep. But even more important is getting the big picture and appreciate and know why this music is so important to our history and lives now.

"Paths Of Victory" - Terri's Song Of The Day

I'm a sucker for a good Pete Seeger recording. He was such a significant mentor for a young Bob Dylan, and Pete recorded some beautiful covers of Bob's songs even the obscure ones.
