Dead & Company showed their support for the students and staff of Parkland, Florida's Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School at their recent concert in Sunrise, Florida by wearing #MSDStrong shirts and having the school's logo projected on their stage background.

The band also took time out to meet and speak with survivors from the Parkland mass shooting.

Bassist Oteil Burbridge wrote in a Facebook post,

"What an incredibly special night with some of the bravest young people I have ever met. These young heroes wear T-shirts, not capes. Thank you to all the students at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School. It was so amazing to see you smiling and dancing. Your courage is inspiring. #hometownshowforme #gogetemcameron #tshirtsarethenewcapes#msdstrong March for our Lives."
