Dowd & Drew are two Chicago singer-songwriters teaming up to take the stage. Gerald Dowd has been described by Richard Milne of XRT as “the hardest working drummer in Chicago” and is a regular on the touring circuit. Rachel Drew grew up in Chicago and has been singing since those days. Rachel also headlines her band of originals, the Bitter Roots. Rachel’s sound draws from mid-60s R&B, early-70s Ronstadt, Roy Orbison, as well as classic country.
