Saturday Morning Flashback: 1972 [Playlist]

Hop in our time traveling machine with the soundtrack of 1972.
Back in '72 with our weekly time travel machine, Saturday Morning Flashback! Vivid patterns, maxi dresses, mini skirts and knee socks were the fashions of the day.
"The Godfather" was released and won the Oscar as best picture. Double albums from Todd Rundgren, the Rolling Stones, and The Allman Brothers (double drummers too!) were part of the soundscape. A rich and varied year, full of joy and pain. With one of the decade's best years for music.
