In 1981 the longest baseball game ever lasted 33 innings or 8 hours and 25 minutes ,by a couple of east coast Triple A teams. We were able to spare you the bad concession food and condense the year's cultural and musical happenings down to 3 hours. When Ronald Reagan was inaugurated as our 40th President and the Iranian hostages were released the same day. A year that saw the Rolling Stones hang out in Chicago and jam with Muddy Waters on the south side. When we were mesmerized by Raiders of The Lost Ark, Rubik's Cube and the royal wedding of Diana Spencer to Charles, Prince of Wales. U2 played the Park West, MTV began, and the Go-Go's released their landmark debut.
